encouragement content added as I navigate through life

     overwhelmed with                workload...

...find creative ways to get your work done when you are overwhelmed with work. If you have a hobby or interest, try working on it in-between work. Depending on the type of work you do, you can enjoy your hobby during your breaktimes or you may want to just relax and recharge...also look for ways to simplify your work.

For those who are not overwhelmed with their work and can't relate, please know that the challenge to continue working when your stressed, challenged with adversity, or overwhelmed can be difficult for some people.  My focus is to encourage others (including myself) to find creative ways to incorporate things  we enjoy doing and  do those things while  getting the work, job, assignment or task done.

if your overwhelmed with work. ask yourself - if your work, job or assignment is in line with your purpose?

if you've on purpose with your work - even when you don't feel like getting the work done, you will experience a sense of fulfillment...

no matter what type of work you do - try to find ways to enjoy what you do.

Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God Ecclesiastes 2:24

know yourself

  • Lets say your work is to manage the home and take care of family (cook, clean, pay bills, take the kids to appointments, activities...)

Create moments in between where you take care of yourself, and enjoy the things you like. Find Something fun and exciting or pamper yourself. Don't wait on others to realize that you are overwhelmed and need a break. Know yourself. Don't wait on others to SEE YOU.

  • An educator

I remember years ago, being advised by a Teacher who had been teaching for over 20 years. She said to me, consider staying out of the teachers lounge. That was very valuable advice.  I must say being an introvert,  that advice came easy for me.

I'm not saying to isolate yourself. Although, sometimes that can be a  good thing. I'm simply stating to avoid getting overwhelmed by work, be informed of the things you need to know, associate yourself around positive and healthy conversation.

  • Maintenance - Sanitation

First let me say,  your work creates comfort for others and I really appreciate your service.  If you're feeling overwhelmed, ask yourself if you believe you are making a difference.  Find ways to create comfort for yourself while working.

Summertime - have cold beverage

Wintertime - have warm beverages

To whom ever is reading this, you can personally help to bring comfort to the sanitation or mail person  that work in your area by freezing bottled water for them. It only takes a few minutes of your time to hand them a few bottled waters.  Kindness is everything.

  • Medical

While helping others, try to take care of yourself. Keep your medical appointments.  If you've feeling a burnout and overwhelmed make certain to take vacations. Depending on the medical work you do, it maybe healthy for you to consider taking short vacation breaks throughout the year.

  • Business Owner - Entrepreneur

Have a Plan and Work Your Plan. Be focused and try not to compare your path with others.

  • Dog Walker

Take a route or path while Dog walking that will bring you enjoyment.
